The company
Shifu Labs builds and owns everything in the portfolio. No clients. No retainers. Each property is a long position on one trade.
The properties are free and always will be. They pay for themselves when a reader who has learned how the work is done goes and buys the tool that does it. That only holds if the ratings are honest, so the ratings are not for sale. No vendor has ever paid for placement here and none ever will.

Maps the trade. Reviews the tools. Sets the ratings. Ships the software.
William Lee runs Shifu Labs. There is no team behind that sentence — he picks each vertical, reads the sources down to what survives, uses the tools before ranking them, and writes the software that produces the artifact.
He works in the open. What the studio learns goes into Notes as it is learned, wrong turns included. If a rating looks wrong to somebody who does that work for a living, he would rather hear it than not.
